It is hard to imagine that Lea Michele who famously plays starlet Rachel Berry on Glee was once considered ‘not pretty enough for TV.’ Before landing her star making turn in Glee, Lea was a struggling actress who was often told that she wouldn’t make it in Hollywood because she didn’t have the right look. The little starlet that could Luckily for Gleeks Ryan Murphy (the show’s creator) wasn’t of the same opinion. Lea reportedly revealed that Glee was the first audition she ever went on and that Ryan, whom she had met while working on Broadway in New York had written the part of Rachel with Lea in mind. Good thing Lea didn’t let anyone telling her she couldn’t stop her from giving up her dream!

She may be out of jail and rehab and on good behaviour but Lindsay Lohan is not feeling the love from Machete director Robert Rodriguez.

According to US Weekly, Robert didn't want her at the premiere of the movie. "He was frantically trying to track down her manager to make sure she didn't go," the source said. "She wasn't welcome there." Aw, that's gotta hurt.

In case you are curious about what Lindsay's role in the film is, she plays a junkie and apparently she is naked for the better part of her scenes. Not sure this is the best way for her to make a comeback considering she told Vanity Fair before going to jail that she wanted her career back!

You’d Think Lindsay Lohan Would Have Learned Her Lesson Unfortunately for Lindsay Lohan, and the countless motorists on the streets of LA, she hasn’t. The troubled star, who has done jail time and just completed a stint in rehab, is on a very short leash as far as the law is concerned but Lindsay looks determined to totally push her luck.

Lindsay was recently stopped by cops in her brand new car for plowing through stops signs, red lights and showing little regard for speed limits (she was said to have been driving at 120 mph). Luckily the singer was only issued a warning and not hauled off to jail.

Tang first film since "Lust, Caution" came this year: a Hong Kong-set romance "Crossing Hennessy."

The actress is now set to play Mao's girlfriend, Tao Yi, in the mainland production "The Founding of a Party," the news website of state-owned China Film Group reported on Wednesday.

Letting the actress play the love interest of communist China's founding father means that Chinese film officials are ready to welcome her back into the local market.

Hong Kong director Peter Chan has also reportedly cast Tang alongside action star Donnie Yen in his upcoming kung fu movie.

Mao is being played by Chinese actor Liu Ye, best known to Western audiences for his roles in "Curse of the Golden Flower" and "Dark Matter," which co-starred Meryl Streep.

She explained: "The other day... Scott and I were walking down the street in New York and this lady's like, 'Kourtney! I love you!' And then she's like, 'Dump him!'

"Scott and I were just like smiling and I was like, 'OK, I'll do it for you.' And then I was like, 'Obviously I have to do what's best for me and my family."
